Calum Kerr DSA ADI; Owner and Principal Instructor

Calum Kerr is an approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and is on the ADI register. Calum qualified as a National Health Service Advanced Driving Instructor and a Paramedic Instructor 25 years ago. Calum has a Degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Business Studies and has trained as a Life/Personal Coach and NLP Practitioner. Calum started his NHS career as a front line paramedic and concluded it as an Executive Senior Manager, he has shown drive and determination to succeed, which he can encapsulate in his lesson plans . The credentials and wide range of experience gained over 25 years have combined to make Calum an intuitive and supportive Coach, who will provide a tailored and bespoke personal development plan for each driving student.

Calum has recently been awarded a BTEC accredited coaching diploma for Driver Development (see below) The study and application of this leading edge award, ensures that he adopts a cutting edge learner centred approach for his clients.

Calum is a member of leading Driving Industry organisations; The Driving Instructors Association (DIA), The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and the Motor Schools Association (MSA)
Calum makes the driving experience fun, enjoyable and rewarding for all students, offering encouragement and motivational feedback, while creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere inside the car.

Calum is also a ‘Pass Plus’ instructor, providing advice and support for newly qualified drivers, and he is committed to the Driving Standards Agency  Continued Professional Development.
